Tsanna is a spacious 70ft traditional stern narrowboat built by Alexander Boats, offering a comfortable layout ideal for those looking to live aboard or enjoy extended cruising. With a dedicated engine room and a classic boatman’s cabin, the vessel combines traditional narrowboat character with practical living space. Measuring 70ft by 6ft 10in and currently moored in Northamptonshire, Tsanna presents an excellent opportunity for anyone seeking life on the waterways.
Powered by a reliable Perkins D3 48hp three-cylinder diesel engine with PRM 160 gearbox and hospital silencer, the boat is designed for dependable cruising. The steel hull features a 10/6/4 plating specification with a flat bottom hull shape, while sprayfoam insulation helps maintain comfort in all seasons. The vessel has an approximate 40-gallon fuel tank and benefits from a recent engine and gearbox service completed in June 2025.
Hot water is supplied via a calorifier and Webasto system, while central heating is provided by Webasto alongside Morso Squirrel and Hobbit solid fuel stoves. A stainless steel water tank holds approximately 100 gallons, supporting extended stays aboard. The electrical system includes both 12v and 240v power, supported by a Sterling 1800w inverter, one starter battery and three leisure batteries. Three large solar panels with an MPPT controller provide additional energy efficiency, alongside a galvanic isolator and battery charge management system.
The accommodation comfortably sleeps up to six people with a fixed double bed, sofa bed and additional space in the traditional boatman’s cabin. The galley is equipped with an Indesit cooker and 12v ReVace fridge/freezer. The bathroom includes a Porta Potti toilet, shower and vanity basin.
Three side hatches and a cratch cover provide ventilation and useful access points. Tsanna has been well maintained, with hull blacking completed in May 2025 alongside a hull survey carried out the same month. The Boat Safety Certificate is valid until March 2030, giving peace of mind for future owners.

A boat is not valued on its age. The age of a boat is irrelevant. A boat is valued based on who built the hull? Who fitted the boat out and what type of materials were used (Hard wood or MDF etc) What equipment does the boat have (Bow thruster, generator, inverters etc) These are just a few of the many factors that equate to the correct value of a boat.

BUYERS & SELLERS
When you buy a boat from us you pay all monies in to our company clients trust account which means that the buyers and sellers money is protected. This is the same account that solicitors set up for house sales .This money does not belong to the company it belongs to the buyer until the sale is complete and then we pay the seller from the company clients trust account. We cannot release the money from the Clients Trust Account to the seller until the vessel has been accepted and handed over to the buyer because if there was a fault with the vessel and the buyer refused to accept it and wanted their money back we could not do this because the seller would of already had the money. This could become a very costly and messy problem for all parties.
This money never enters our company current account. This also means that we cannot use customers money for other purchases/reasons. If at any point the company went bust then the buyers/sellers money is safe and it would go back to the rightful owner of the money.
We have had this company clients trust account set up from day one to protect our customers money. This account is a secure holding account. We pay the seller monies due from this account when the buyer has signed to accept the vessel. Payment is made from this account to the seller by cheque from the clients Trust Account which is protected guaranteed funds.
