Before we purchased Blow it two years ago (2023) we had if lifted out of the water at Penine Cruisers in Skipton (refer to photos) and it was checked by a surveyor and the hull was found to be in perfect condition, epoxied and blacked (included the underside of the boat which he said was unusual!).

A loved and very well maintained boat that is a lovely home or holiday vessel. "
Since we bought the boat, it has had a larger starter battery installed. We have also fully tongue and grooved the walls, and painted and varnish the interior (with eggshell, terracotta and white) as we thought the boat had too much plywood and would have a more open feel with lighter colours.
We have also added some handmade features such as wooden doorhandles, curtains and light fittings (hand carved by my father ?) which give the boat character !
We have Have also added a hand painted mural to both sides of the boat. When we bought her she was plain blue without any lettering. So I designed a graphic style mural that matches the glass panel (swan design) at the front of the boat, and painted the name and registration number also. The mural reflects the wildlife that can be seen along the Leeds Liverpool canal!
We have also built a large jeti exterior to the boat, since getting the mooring a year ago. When we got the mooring, there was only a grass banking, we wanted an outdoor living space for sitting, growing plants and storage. The jeti has a patio area made with anti-slip fiberglass boards, a tarp covered seating area with log storage, three large plant beds, a small jeti to access the back of the boat/engine and solar charged lights. It is a beautiful addition to the boats mooring that allows for much more space to garden and sit outside in all weather! The jeti is part of the private mooring so is not owned by us but rented.
The Boat will have a full BSS when purched, the safety examiner has already been a month ago and says there are three minor issues that he is in the process of sorting which will be completed by time of purchase.
Blow it has been my father's home now for over two years, and has given us all some fantastic times cruising the canal, and peaceful times on the mooring. But we have dreams to purchase land which was our plan before buying the boat. It has been a wonderful place to stay whilst in search of somewhere else, but we are now ready to sell it to someone else who will love her!
