This Brig Eagle 8
is a genuinely well-equipped example of what many consider one of the best family RIBs on the market. The Eagle 8 was awarded Sports Boat of the Year on its release and it's easy to see why, with its sleek, purposeful lines, wide-diameter tubes and deep-V hull
, it carries itself more like a sports boat than a traditional RIB, and this particular boat has been specified and optioned to a very high standard throughout.


Power comes from a Suzuki 350hp duo-prop
outboard (serviced May 2026
) that gives this boat serious pace while remaining surprisingly refined at lower speeds. A full Garmin electronics package covers all the bases at the helm, including chart plotter, VHF with AIS capabilities and a dedicated instrument display, while a Fusion head unit and four-speaker system make longer days out genuinely enjoyable. Keyless start is fitted via the Costal Key system
.


The layout works well for both family days and entertaining at anchor. The forward sun deck with bow infill cushions is a real draw, and the twin helm bolsters keep things comfortable when you're pushing on. Aft, there's a bench seat with storage below and an Isotherm drawer fridge
, the sort of detail that makes a real difference on a warm day. A large removable cockpit table and a smaller teak table round things off nicely.


Practical extras are all present: electric windlass
with anchor, freshwater shower
aft, swim platforms with starboard ladder, and a black suntop
on the stainless A-frame for shade underway. Mocha Brown SeaDek flooring
throughout the cockpit gives excellent grip and finishes the all-black aesthetic off cleanly. Covers for the console, rear bench and bow are all included.
