This vessel is an auxiliary Bermudan cutter, built of steel with rounded overhanging bow and counter stern.
She has a double chine hull with a fairly long, straight keel with rudder at aft end of keel. The cabin top has a dog-house at the aft end with wheelhouse over the cockpit and after cabin top.
The hull is of all-welded steel with double chines, flat bar stringers and frames. Steel deck and steel cabin tops, and three tanks included.
The ballast keel is encapsulated in the main steel keel. Approx displacement – 12 tons; approx ballast 3.5 tons.
Lloyds certified drawings provided. Built by an accredited welding company, this vessel was shot-blasted inside and out and given a professional two-coat Sigma coating over all its 300+ sq metres in 2003.
Lying in its customised steel cradle in rural east coast Scotland.
