I am promoting this remarkable Carter 39 on behalf of my father, who is reluctantly selling it due to his advancing age. The Carter 39 Saphir British Register SSR101309 is in fair condition, constructed by Olympic Yachts for the original German owner in 1974, and has been owned by the current owner since 2004. Its dimensions are 11.8m x 3.9m x 2.1m draught, accommodating 7 berths. The vessel was epoxy-coated with Polyester Resin in 2010 and features a 50-litre fuel tank and 260 litres of fresh water distributed in two tanks. It is powered by a three-cylinder BMC diesel engine with decompressors and is equipped with a two-blade folding propeller. The electrical system includes a mains electric two-ring cooking hob and a Taylor spirit stove. Additionally, it comes with twin spinnaker poles, a jockey pole, and a light airs pole, as well as a mainsail furling Genoa, headsails, and spinnakers. A liferaft is included, and if needed, mooring tackle such as anchors, chain, buoy, and a solid dinghy are also available.
