Advancing years have finally forced me to sell my 2004 Coastal Whammel gaff rigged dayboat.
This is the twin cockpit swing keel model which will float in just 18in but draws 2ft 10in with keel down.
She has a traditional gaff mainsail and a roller reefing fore sail. She is fitted with a substantial galvanised keel band so can take the ground, intentionally or otherwise, and will sit on the side keels quite happily to dry out on a beach etc.
The boat has hardwood gunwales and gratings to the cockpit sole and hardwood side benches around the cockpit. The spars are wooden, all mooring cleats galvanised steel, the standing rigging stainless steel
There are four substantial side lockers and a massive central locker as well as a smaller locker aft.
The boat comes fitted with a sprayhood which I did intend to convert into a full length camping cover for dinghy camping. Included is also a Mercury 4hp engine, lightly used and professionally maintained as well as a suitable anchor with chain and rope, a telescopic boat hook and a full set of fenders.
The trailer has just been completely overhauled with new tow coupling, axle units, wheel hubs, brakes, brake cables etc.
She will carry 6 people easily.
