This beautifully preserved Chris?Craft 19' Special Utility represents one of the final examples of the company’s pre?war mahogany craftsmanship, a rare survivor from the transitional years when Chris?Craft shifted from civilian pleasure craft to wartime production. Built to the 1943 design specification, this model is the direct predecessor to the celebrated post?war Sportsman line, sharing the same open?cockpit layout, elegant sheer, and unmistakable Chris?Craft character.

Surviving examples of the 19' Special Utility are exceptionally scarce, particularly those retaining documented provenance from the early 1940s. A boat from this period offers collectors and enthusiasts a rare opportunity to acquire a genuine piece of Chris?Craft heritage. A craft that bridges the company’s golden pre?war era with the iconic Sportsman models that followed.

Keuka has been in the family of the current owner since 1987 and came to the UK in 2018. Following her arrival, she immediately underwent a restoration by the renowned and respected team at Landamores. They have also been the team charged with her maintenance ever since. Keuka comes to Market with not only her stunning appearance but also a large dossier of works and paperwork that dates back to her inception. This paperwork also incuses her initial order form. As is the case with many older boats, not everything is known about when she was actually built and delivered. what we do know is that the was ordered in October 1941 to a 1943 specification. 

Keuka has been kept in full working order but he would also not look out of place ashore in someone's collection of classic cars & transportation This is a Genuine opportunity to take stewardship of a genuine piece of boat building history.
