One of the first fibreglass Chris Crafts Solid construction. Deep V hull designed by Jim Wynne (winner of Cowes Torquay in 1966 and inventor of the outdrive!). Very seaworthy for a boat of this size (22-23ft).
New Volvo Penta 300hp petrol engine and DP outdrive to get through CE certification into the UK. The XK22 is rare worldwide and this is almost certainly the only one in the UK. Mechanicals recently serviced along with the engine bay painted. The trim seems to have stopped working since then, but might be electrical as the switch is loose. The trim tabs also need work. Low hours on the engine and outdrive, although no gauge.
Was coppercoated, but that is now wearing off. Recently re-upholstered. Full boat cover that converts into a Bimini. The boat is usable, but really needs love and quite a lot of cosmetics. I've got quite a lot of original and additional parts to go with the boat. Lots of potential to have something really fun, fast, and unusual!
