Paws a While is a beautifully crafted 57ft semi-traditional narrowboat built by the highly regarded Colecraft in 2006, with a quality fit-out by Darren Aldridge Boat Fitting. Powered by a reliable Beta Marine 43hp diesel engine, Paws a While offers smooth and dependable cruising along the canals. The engine is cocooned for quieter operation, helping to create a more peaceful experience while underway. The boat also benefits from a Vetus bow thruster to assist with manoeuvring, making mooring and navigating tighter spaces easier and more convenient.

Inside, the boat offers generous accommodation for up to six people. The flexible sleeping arrangements include a double bed that extends, along with additional berths from the dinette and sofa bed, providing comfortable options for both owners and guests. The galley is well equipped with a Thetford cooker, fridge/freezer, and a Beko washing machine, complemented by stylish black marble-effect worktops that give the space a modern and practical finish.

The bathroom includes a shower, vanity basin, and a compost toilet. A pump-out tank is already in place and the system could easily be converted back to a pump-out setup if preferred with the addition of pipework. Heating and hot water are well catered for with an Eberspacher central heating system, calorifier and immersion, alongside the ever-popular Morso Squirrel solid fuel stove to keep the cabin warm and cosy during cooler months.

Paws a While is also well equipped electrically, featuring both 12v and 240v systems, a Victron Energy 3kW inverter, Master Volt Alpha Pro Charge Regulator, and an impressive 870w of solar panels managed by a Victron MPPT controller. With four leisure batteries and one starter battery onboard, the boat offers a capable electrical setup for comfortable off-grid living.

Externally, the boat benefits from both a side hatch, cratch cover and pram cover, providing additional sheltered outdoor space. The vessel was taken back to bare metal and repainted in October 2022 and blacked with 2-pack epoxy at the same time, demonstrating recent care and maintenance. When you buy a boat from us you pay all monies in to our company clients trust account which means that the buyers and sellers money is protected. This is the same account that solicitors set up for house sales .This money does not belong to the company it belongs to the buyer until the sale is complete and then we pay the seller from the company clients trust account. We cannot release the money from the Clients Trust Account to the seller until the vessel has been accepted and handed over to the buyer because if there was a fault with the vessel and the buyer refused to accept it and wanted their money back we could not do this because the seller would of already had the money. This could become a very costly and messy problem for all parties.

This money never enters our company current account. This also means that we cannot use customers money for other purchases/reasons. If at any point the company went bust then the buyers/sellers money is safe and it would go back to the rightful owner of the money.

We have had this company clients trust account set up from day one to protect our customers money. This account is a secure holding account. We pay the seller monies due from this account when the buyer has signed to accept the vessel. Payment is made from this account to the seller by cheque from the clients Trust Account which is protected guaranteed funds.
