Introducuing Big Ben, built by the renowned manufacturer Colecraft, Big Ben is a beautifully presented 58ft semi-traditional narrowboat, currently moored in Staffordshire and ready to serve as a comfortable, spacious floating home or cruiser. Measuring 58ft by 6ft 10in, she offers generous living space enhanced by a large side hatch with a screen, flooding the cabin with natural light and fresh air.
Constructed with a steel hull (specification 10/6/4), flat bottom, solid wood flooring, and sprayfoam insulation, she is built for durability, efficiency, and year-round comfort. The hull was professionally blacked in June 2025, giving you peace of mind regarding her underwater protection.
Power and performance are provided by a four-cylinder Isuzu 42hp diesel engine, paired with a PRM gearbox and keel cooling system — a trusted setup for both leisure and liveaboard use. Her systems are well equipped for continuous cruising or permanent mooring: a 400-litre fuel tank and approximately 250 gallons of water storage provide excellent range, while the electrical setup includes both 12v and 240v supplies. You will find a Sterling 1500w inverter, one starter battery, four leisure batteries, and two 150w solar panels with a 60amp controller, ensuring you have ample power even off-grid. Heating and hot water are comfortably handled by a Morso Squirrel solid fuel stove and a calorifier system.
Inside, the accommodation is practical, warm, and inviting. The galley is fully fitted with solid wood worktops, a Logik cooker, a fridge/freezer operable on 12v or 240v, and a Beko washing machine — everything you need for life afloat. Sleeping arrangements include a fixed double berth, offering comfortable accommodation for up to two. The bathroom features a shower, vanity basin, and porta-potti, completing the living arrangements. Additional practical features include a cratch cover, stern tonneau cover, and porthole windows. Her Boat Safety Certificate is valid until November 2029.
This is a fantastic opportunity to acquire a well-equipped, well-maintained narrowboat from a respected builder. Whether you are looking for your first boat, a liveaboard home, or a cruising vessel, Big Ben is ready to move aboard and enjoy. Viewings are available by appointment only — contact us today to arrange a visit and see everything she has to offer.

BUYERS & SELLERS
When you buy a boat from us you pay all monies in to our company clients trust account which means that the buyers and sellers money is protected. This is the same account that solicitors set up for house sales .This money does not belong to the company it belongs to the buyer until the sale is complete and then we pay the seller from the company clients trust account. We cannot release the money from the Clients Trust Account to the seller until the vessel has been accepted and handed over to the buyer because if there was a fault with the vessel and the buyer refused to accept it and wanted their money back we could not do this because the seller would of already had the money. This could become a very costly and messy problem for all parties.
This money never enters our company current account. This also means that we cannot use customers money for other purchases/reasons. If at any point the company went bust then the buyers/sellers money is safe and it would go back to the rightful owner of the money.
We have had this company clients trust account set up from day one to protect our customers money. This account is a secure holding account. We pay the seller monies due from this account when the buyer has signed to accept the vessel. Payment is made from this account to the seller by cheque from the clients Trust Account which is protected guaranteed funds.
