Description

This Colvic Watson design is based on a Scottish fishing boat, providing a sturdy and capable motor sailor. There are 4 berths including a double in the aft cabin, and the saloon diner converts into another double. The fore cabin is fitted out as a large heads area with wash basin and hanging space. The wheelhouse is bright and airey with good all round visibility. A new canvas cover provides full protection when cruising in adverse weather.
ENGINE - Thornycroft 108 - 4 cylinder diesel. This 38hp motor isregularly serviced, in good working order giving cruising speeds of 4-5 kts. Last serviced October 2025.
SAILS - The tan sails were recently valeted and repaired. New headsail sun-strip, main luff sliders, reefing point rings and a new sail cover. The cockpit canvas was renewed 2024.
STEERING - This is cable operated from the wheelhouse to a quadrant on the rudder stock.
FRESH WATER - A 35gal stainless steel tank located on the starboard side. Water is pressure fed from an electric pump to the galley sink and a basin in the heads.
GAS SYSTEM - From a 6kg propane bottle in a cockpit locker. The gas hose-line was replaced 2023 to a fixed Parker two burner, grill and oven stove. Also to a cabin heater in the saloon.
ELECTRICS and EQUIPMENT - 2 x 12v batteries are charged from the alternator and a solar panel on the wheelhouse roof.
Garmin GPS. - Standard Horizon CP 180 plotter. - Raymarine ST 6002 pilot. - HummingbirdMax 215 fish finder & depth. Alcom VHF / DSC Radio coupled to GPS =. Sestrel steering compas.
