Description
Whilst the limelight may fall on her stablemates the Contessa 26 and Contessa 32, the Contessa 28 has many positive attributes of it's own. From the pen of Doug Peterson, the author of many successful Contessa designs, the 28 is a great sailing yacht with the added advantage of feeling significantly larger internally than the 26 but with only 2 feet of actual extra length. This extra comfort sets them apart and makes life with one that bit more comfortable for a family while retaining the ability to be easily sailed singlehanded. Less well known the 28's are also less numerous but still with over a hundred built making them one for those in the know.
Zoe of Hamble is a 1978 example in good condition and well maintained by the current owner. She is ready to go and awaits fresh adventures.

Brokers Comments
Zoe of Hamble has received much upgrading by the current owner who has added several unique and personal touches to her finish. With an eye to safety the emergency detectors are all optimally placed, such as the gas detector being located next to the gas supply. Other additions include a mast line ideal for use when singlehanded and a considerable list of spares and equipment.
