I pick my days carefully... the 150% genoa is the one to concentrate on so furling and pointing is important. Bilges need minimal emptying. Turns on a sixpence under power.
The helm position is snug and secure but above force 4 spray crosses the deck.
Minimal navigation equipment beyond depth and speed. Used for last decade only for coastal cruising. Kettle, gas cooker, sink and fresh water supply. Red ensign and signal flags, masthead nav lights. Anchor with 25m chain. Windlass.
