Golden Girl is a charming 38ft cruiser stern narrowboat built by Dave Clarke, offering a well-maintained and comfortable vessel ready for its next owner and new adventures on the waterways. Measuring 38ft by 6ft 10in, the boat is powered by a reliable Beta 28hp diesel engine with four cylinders and a PRM 150 gearbox. Currently moored in Staffordshire, Golden Girl has been well cared for, with a valid Boat Safety Certificate in place until 2030, providing peace of mind for prospective buyers.
Constructed with a steel hull featuring a 10/6/4 plating specification and a flat bottom hull shape, the boat offers sturdy construction. The interior is finished with laminate flooring and tongue and groove cabin sides, creating a warm and practical living space. Top-opening windows provide natural light and ventilation throughout the cabin. The boat also benefits from a diesel fuel tank with an approximate capacity of 30 gallons and a stainless steel water tank holding around 80 gallons.
Heating and hot water are provided via a calorifier and Webasto system, with central heating from the Webasto unit and an additional solid fuel stove for warmth during colder months. The electrical system includes both 12v and 240v supply, supported by a 2000w Sterling inverter. Power is stored through one starter battery and three leisure batteries, while three 100w solar panels help maintain battery charge when cruising or moored off-grid.
Inside, the galley is equipped with a Statesman cooker and a Waeco fridge/freezer, complemented by attractive solid wood worktops that add both character and practicality to the space. The boat offers accommodation for up to four people, with a fixed double bed and an additional sofa bed providing flexible sleeping arrangements.
The bathroom is fitted with a pump-out toilet, shower, and vanity basin, providing all the essential facilities needed for comfortable living aboard. Externally, the boat benefits from both a cratch cover and a pram cover, offering protection from the elements and additional usable space at the bow and stern.
Golden Girl presents an excellent opportunity to own a well-maintained narrowboat that is ready to enjoy straight away.
PLEASE NOTE: The boat requires gritblasting, spot welding followed by 2 pack epoxy.

BUYERS & SELLERS
When you buy a boat from us you pay all monies in to our company clients trust account which means that the buyers and sellers money is protected. This is the same account that solicitors set up for house sales .This money does not belong to the company it belongs to the buyer until the sale is complete and then we pay the seller from the company clients trust account. We cannot release the money from the Clients Trust Account to the seller until the vessel has been accepted and handed over to the buyer because if there was a fault with the vessel and the buyer refused to accept it and wanted their money back we could not do this because the seller would of already had the money. This could become a very costly and messy problem for all parties.
This money never enters our company current account. This also means that we cannot use customers money for other purchases/reasons. If at any point the company went bust then the buyers/sellers money is safe and it would go back to the rightful owner of the money.
We have had this company clients trust account set up from day one to protect our customers money. This account is a secure holding account. We pay the seller monies due from this account when the buyer has signed to accept the vessel. Payment is made from this account to the seller by cheque from the clients Trust Account which is protected guaranteed funds.
