‘Ted’ is a charming 45ft Traditional Stern Narrowboat, originally built by Derby Boats in 1996 and extensively refitted during the winter of 2020-2021. As part of the re-fit, the hull was sand blasted back to bare metal and professionally re-painted in the current unique colour scheme. She is powered by a new Barrus Shire diesel engine, installed in 2023 with just 1,195 hours of use.

She boasts a new Range ‘Heritage Trio’ cooker and a new Hobbit Salamader multi-fuel stove, making her warm and inviting all year round. This well maintained boat benefits from a number of thoughtful upgrades and is now ready for her next adventure on the network.
