Designed by Wyatt & Freeman, built by Northshore and professionally fitted out in 1984. Based on the Fisher 25 motorsailer hull, the Potter has an aft cockpit and enclosed wheelhouse. Midships she has a deep well deck, beneath which is a two berth cabin accessed from a deck hatch. The raised foredeck has a further two berths beneath and a sea toilet. Ketch rigged and powered by a 29hp diesel. The Potter is a great boat for family outings, exploring shallow estuaries or fishing.
The construction is a white heavy-duty GRP hull with a full-length keel and encapsulated cast iron ballast. Includes teak rubbing strake, bulwarks and capping. Keel/transom hung rudder with wheel steering and emergency tiller. Also a white GRP deck and wheelhouse. Green treadmaster non-slip deck surfaces. Teak internal joinery.
Powered by a Volvo 2003 three cylinder 29HP diesel engine. Sea water cooling. Flex mounts. Single lever controls. Electric start. Reversing reduction gearbox with shaft driven 3 bladed propellor. Crusing at 5.5 - 6 knots and obtaining a maximum speed of approximately 7 knots. Sea cocks and muffler replaced 2011. Internal exhaust 2019. Rope cutter fitted 2013.

Wheelhouse with fold downd helmsman's seat to port and another fold down bench to starboard. Galley at aft port of wheelhouse with fold out stainless steel sink with manual fresh water pump and a 2009 Wallas Safeflame 950 diesel fired two burner cooker.
