Description

Ada Rose is a 50 foot all steel cruiser stern narrow boat built by Hancock and Lane in 1989. She is powered by an air-cooled Lister SR3 which is located under the large cruiser deck at the rear. Layout from the rear comprises of two single bunk beds with vanity basin and storage unit opposite. Following this is the shower room which opens the full width of the boat and contains a shower, Thetford C200 cassette toilet and wash basin. The saloon follows with solid fuel stove and large sofa bed which converts into a double bed. Next comes the fully fitted galley with 12v fridge, gas cooker, sink and ample storage space by way of cupboards and drawers. At the front end of the cabin is the double bedroom with fixed double bed and doors opening onto the forward well deck. Cratch and cover fitted over front well with pram hood over rear cruiser stern deck. Current Boat Safety until 2029. 240v Sterling charger installed. Survey report from 2022 showed that the hull required over plating. This was carried out professionally and to a high standard with the boat being relaunched in 2025 following completion of the works and three coats of two pack epoxy paint system applied.
