The Heard 28 must be one of the best kept secrets for a modern Classic Yacht.
Based on the traditional Falmouth oyster dredgers and inshore fishing boats of Cornwall, this Heard 28 is a solid no nonsense, spacious cruising yacht that could take you anywhere.
Molly Oxford is in excellent condition, a great tribute the the builders, subsequent and present owners.
The combination of a GRP hull and top grade quality traditional materials in construction gives the best of both worlds.
The retractable bowsprit gives cheaper mooring options.
Navigation aids incl:
Raymarine C90 Plotter
RAymarine Bi Data Log/Depth
If the pride of and joy of sailing a classic yachts appeals, this fine example should be on your short list.
The Classic Boat Magazine reviewer 1989 described her as' the nicest Heard 28 I've seen' [A copy of this review is available].
In recent years she's taken part in the Brest and Douarnez Festivals, Falmouth Classics and Yarmouth Old Gaffers.
With the present owner downsizing, there's a rare opportunity for a new discerning skipper to continue her adventures.
