Description

Waterdog is an historic Humber barge which has been transformed from a cargo barge to a comfortable 2 bedroom live aboard, on a fully residential mooring in Woodbridge, Suffolk.
She has a fully insulated (spray foam), spacious modern interior with central heating and solar panels, and over 2.3m headroom throughout, except the second bedroom that has 1.9m headroom.
The mooring is bow on to a town quay with full facilities - shore power, dedicated water supply, phone and broadband. Woodbridge station is a 3-minute walk away with trains to Ipswich & connections to London, or Lowestoft going north.
The town centre is an easy 5-minute walk with shops, cafes and pubs.
We started with Waterdog in Goole, East Yorkshire, cruised France and Belgium for 9 years, and came to Suffolk at the end of 2016.
Waterdog was dry docked in 2017 and the whole hull was grit blasted and painted with 2-pack epoxy.
She is perfectly kitted out as a full- or part-time home, but equally, fully mobile and ready for cruising with the hull survey valid until 2027 and a current ES-TRIN (European safety certificate).
