We are delighted to have been asked to list this fabulous live-aboard Tjalk on behalf of the owners.

Built in 1923, this lovely barge has been their home for the last 15 years during which time she has extensively cruised the English rivers and canals as well as the French waterways.

She has a large rear deck and a comfortable wheelhouse and everything necessary for inland or coastal cruising.

There are two double cabins, a bathroom with a bath and shower, separate toilet with macerator tank/sea facility. A large light, airy lounge/galley main cabin, which has just been recently decorated.

Storage cupboards to either side of all cabins give masses of space for stowage. A further 2 berths are available in the 6-seater wheelhouse. The saloon is heated/cooled with air conditioning, and there is a diesel-powered Kubota central heating system.

She is powered by a Kromhout (Dutch Gardner) 4-cylinder engine. She is fitted with a 24V bow thruster. Four large solar panels provide ample power for the 12/24/240v electrics. There's a large 24v leisure battery bank in the bow locker.

She was dry-docked, blacked and new anodes in March 2024 at which time a hull survey was carried out. The owners will provide a new Boat Safety Certificate on completion.
