Up for sale is my 26’ converted lifeboat. She started life as a lifeboat on a shell oil rig before I purchased her in approximately 2015. Since then I have fitted it out inside using plywood, which is all taped and glued using west system epoxy to ensure a very srong durable Finnish. This is then painted in hemple pale cream.
The layout is as follows…
U-shaped galley area at the front.
Sofa which converts to a bed on the port side.
Wardrobe with built-in TV on starboard side
Further back port side we have a wet room, This has a shower, toilet and basin in it.
Further back on the starboard side we have the entrance area, main control panel, electrical cupboard, and engine.
There is a cabin aft which Sleeps 1 to 2 people.
The vessel is driven from the helm area which is above the aft cabin.
The wheelhouse is operated on gas struts which allows it to be lowered by hand to reduce the air draft so it’s fits under lower bridges, This is all made from 316 stainless steel and with toughened glass windows.
-2x new 100w solar panels mounted to the wheelhouse roof, these go to a victron mppt Solar charge controller.
-victron battery monitor
-Bluetooth stereo with 4x built in speakers, Two in the galley two in the living area.

-24v 880ah forktruck traction battery’s
-Victron 3kva inverter charger.
-Samsung smart oven microwave/oven
-induction hob, toaster, kettle
-hot and cold water is supplied from a 150l water tank in the bow via clarifier which is heated via the engine and immersion.
-blown air diesel heater installed which is supplied by its own tank And ducted to the main area, Bedroom And wet room.
-spotlights throughout all of which are switched from multiple locations.
-240v sockets throughout
-usb sockets throughout
I have fitted stainless steel gunnels around the perimeter of the boat and a bow rail. This is all made from 316 marine grade stainless steel and bonded to the boat using 316 stainless bolts and 3M 5200 adhesive.
The boat has a valid BSS safety certificate. And is currently licensed with the canal and river trust.
I’ve spent lots of my time converting this to live on and now regretfully have to sell it due to a growing family. I have spent a small fortune get in the boat to where is today. With a small amount of time put into painting the floor, worktops, steps ect and giving a general cleanup this could be a very nice boat.
Currently moored on the river Lea
