A 68-foot by 14-foot iron-hulled vessel In 2019-2020, the boat underwent an extensive, professional refurbishment by the reputable Hirst Boatbuilders of Knottingley, Yorkshire. The hull was comprehensively replated in 2019 (£20,000 investment), fully blacked, and fitted with anodes, ensuring structural integrity for years to come. There are areas where money needs spending on this boat. In my opinion it needs a max of £25k spending on it to make perfect. Here is what I think

1- New Bathroom wooden floor £1,000
2- Underfloor heating in living room works but it needs connection for the bedroom £500
3- Upstairs woodburner is not working £200
4- Wheelhouse needs an extra coat of waterproof coating £250
5- Joinery throughout the boat, (doors, finishing etc) £10,000 to make perfect (in my opinion)
6- Painting externally £1,000
8-New rubber seals on portholes and cleaning £500
7- In my opinion the boat will need towing to Hull or Goole in the next 2-3 years and taking out of the water.(it is now 7 years since it was last out) I do not think there is loads to do but this would be advisable. It would cost £4,000 there and back and I would estimate around £5,000 ot be spent on further work. (blacking, checking for any welding ((which I doubt))
