Description:
Built between 2012 and 2016 by a retired boat builder on an unused bare hull from 1980, ‘New Dawn’ is a lovely modern take on the traditional narrowboat. Inside she has teak-faced marine plywood and solid teak trim. She is heavily constructed from GRP (20mm-25mm underneath & 12mm–20mm above the waterline) and has dual steering positions (one under-cover forward and one aft). She has been beautifully finished and would make an ideal live-aboard or canal cruiser. There is a survey available mid-build and another carried out on her completion in 2016.

Lister STW3M, 3 cylinder, 30hp diesel (keel cooled). Last serviced: February 2025. Drive type: shaft. Maximum speed: 5 kts. Fuel capacity: 135 litres. Vetus 75KGF bow thruster. 4 batteries (2 domestic, 1 cranking, 1 bow thruster) charged from the engine. Shore power. 240v battery charger.
