Coastal Engineer was built in 1981 for the Royal Maritime Auxiliary Service as one of 7 ‘snub nose’ multi purpose harbour launches.
Designated as D-95 she primarily carried naval ratings around Portsmouth Harbour and used for light towing duties until sold out of service in 2003. She was then converted to a dive vessel and used around South Wales until I bought her in 2018.
I sailed her back from Wales to Portsmouth around the Cornish coast with one stop at Falmouth on a journey that took just under 4 days and she proved to be a very comfortable coastal cruiser.

For a floating home this project requires major refurbishment to the base plate. We were repairing in order to sell as we no longer live aboad. Side plating has all been recently replaced but we havenow run out of funding and not ecconomiccally viable for us to contnue. The interior is plastered and in good condition.
