Galmara is a 47ft flush deck Taiwanese Yacht, fully renovated internally to create a bright, spacious and contemporary floating home. She has a wide 15' beam with ample living space and is located on a beautiful stretch of the River Thames.
The deck saloon has eight large windows and a 3-piece windshield providing a light and open feel upon entry. In the lower saloon there is further custom-built seating and a fully fitted kitchen with large ceramic sink, gas cooker, electric oven, and full size fridge freezer. To the bow there is the first of three cabins with considerable storage. At the stern there is a further spacious double-berth bedroom and a seperate twin-berth bedroom fitted with bunk beds and built-in wardrobe. From the double-berth cabin there is a beautiful bathroom with moroccan tiled floor, shower and compact bath.
Outside there is a a full walk-around deck linking three seperate levels, each with beautiful views of the river and nature reserve across the water. At the stern is the largest of the three decks rising to the raised dining area with further seating. Every corner of the boat has been renovated and remodelled to create an entirely unique modern houseboat with plentiful living space.
Below deck is a large engine room with twin Ford Lehman 2715E 6.2-litre marine diesel engines, a Sole diesel generator, and a Victron Energy battery charger. The boat is fitted with a programmable and economical 12v Webasto Airtop Evo heating system throughout. There is also an 8kg washer dryer, VHF Radio, radar, electric anchor windlass, secondary flybridge steering point and her original mast for potential sea voyages. Full out of water survey carried out only 4 years ago.
She is on a full residential mooring connected to 230v shore power connection, mains sewer drainage and a BT phone line providing high speed fibre broadband. The moorings are set in 4 acres of beautifully maintained private gated grounds shared with 8 other houseboats which costs £925 pcm per mooring. The grounds contain a residents communal vegetable garden and secure private parking for two cars with keyfob entry. Her engines and mechanicals are in full working order, however, so she can be taken to another mooring if desired.
