Odyssey is a stunning 60’ traditional stern narrowboat built in 1994 by John White and fitted out by Frank Lyons. She has been extremely well prepared for sale, benefiting from a hull survey, blacking, engine service, and various paintwork touch ups in July 2026 prior to listing on brokerage. The external paintwork was fully repainted in 2024 as well!
The 4’0” well deck (with cratch cover) features a fixed bench to the front, and a glazed table folds down from the cratch board, for al fresco dining.
Steps lead down, through glazed forward doors, into the 11’0” saloon. Here is a large sofa (with new covers), a diesel stove (burns Kerosene or diesel), JVC 24” Smart 240v TV, and a cupboard for storage.
Next is the 6’6” L-shaped dinette, with a folding wood table, and storage under. The dinette converts to a spare double berth when needed. A foot stool which matches the sofa is currently stored here for ease of access, but can be moved into the saloon when needed.
The 7’2” galley follows, with tiled worktops, enamel coated sink, Thetford oven & grill, Thetford 4 burner gas hob, 240v Beko fridge, and a range of cupboards and drawers. All the galley appliances were new in 2025. A port side hatch brings in additional light and fresh air.
Next is the 7’1” bathroom, with a Thetford porta potti toilet (3 cassettes), ceramic counter sunk wash basin, and a hip bath with shower over.
A corridor leads aft, to the 5’10” engine room, where the Beta BD3 is proudly on display. This had a new starter motor in 2025. Hatches on both sides bring in additional light and fresh air.
The 9’6” bedroom is in the aft cabin, with a 6’6” x 4’6” extended double berth with a brand new mattress. A double wardrobe, over head cupboards, and a set of drawers, along with plenty of space under the bed, provide more than enough storage.
Steps lead out onto the trad stern deck.
She is centrally heated by a Webasto diesel fired boiler connected to 4 radiators, and hot water is via the engine, Webasto or immersion heater.
12v power is supplied by 3x 110ah domestics with a separate starter, topped up by 700w of solar with a Victron MPPT solar charge controller. 240v power is via a Victron Multiplus compact 1600w inverter/charger, or landline hookup.
Lighting on board is LED throughout.
She is so well presented, and is readily awaiting new owners for epic adventures.
