1993 40ft Cruiser stern Liverpool Boats.

Basic yet reliable boat, easy to moor in London. She has extensively cruised the network and never let me down in 10 years of ownership. BSS just renewed and valid till 11/2029. She is ready to be lived on and fully set up for continuos cruising or permanent mooring.

HULL: never overplated, originally built in 4-6-8, at the last survey (2016, available) she showed minimal loss to the sides and an average of more than 7mm to the baseplate except for some 1mm deep pitting due to lack of galvanic isolator at the beginning of her life. The underwater has been regularly blacked every third year. She comes with 8 anodes, 4 on the sides (approx 50% consumed) and 4 shallow profiled ones installed in 2020 on the baseplate (minimal consumption).
The exterior cabin has been painted in summer 2025 (see pictures) and the stern deck has been replaced at the same time.

ENGINE: 22hp 3 cylinders Vetus engine regularly serviced and maintained by the very reliable Banwell Marine.?It starts on the click and it has rarely given problems.?New starter motor installed in February 2023. Injector refurbished in July 2024 and cylinders' compression tested at the same time. Exhaust fully replaced in April 2025. Valve clearance adjusted in June 2025. New wiring installed in September 2025.
The engine bay has been painted in autumn 2025. Diesel tank approx. 200l.

LPG SYSTEM: single bottle gas locker at the stern. Paloma instant water heater. Oven and 4 hobs. Spare gas bottle.

ELECTRICS: 1 starter battery and 2x 110Ah leisure batteries (all replaced in June 2025). 12v lighting and USB sockets throughout. 1000W Inverter. Battery charger and 240v shore power with sockets.

CABIN: from stern: engineered oak floor throughout.?
Double bedroom with storage underneath. Wardrobe with three drawers.?
Independent bathroom professionally refurbished in spring 2018 and still looking almost brand new. It comes with shower, basin and two cassette toilets.?
Kitchen fully functional although it could do with some TLC (the boat has been priced accordingly).
Fridge not present but there is 12v electrical for one to be fitted.?
Multifuel stove in between kitchen and living room.
Sofa can be converted into two single beds. Storage space at aft.
At the bow there are two benches with storage under the cratch cover (this needs replacing). It comes with stern cover too.?Fresh water tank approx. 600l.
Comes with 2 mooring pins, 2 nappy pins, 2 mooring chains. Barge pole, boat hook and boarding plank.?
