Description

Elsa is 70 foot traditional stern narrow boat built by Mike Heywood Boat Builders in 1990. She is powered by a magnificent Gardner 3LW located in its own engine room with doors that open on each side of the cabin so it that it can be showed off to passers-by! Layout from the rear comprises of an office (which could be converted to a traditional boatman’s cabin), engine room housing all the electrical and mechanical systems including 4kVA standalone generator. Forward of this is walk-through bathroom room with hip bath and shower over, Mansfield Traveller pump out toilet and wash basin. Next comes the spacious double bedroom with cross double bed, dressing table and ample storage space. Following this is the galley with full sized gas cooker, large fridge and freezer, stainless steel sink/drainer and ample worktop/storage space. At the front of the cabin is the saloon with Morso Squirrel stove with a back boiler, two easy chairs and storage units. Elsa benefits from solar panels and cratch and cover over the forward well deck. This boat has previously been used as a live aboard and would suit this use of long-term cruising for a couple.
