Frensham is a 42ft narrowboat with a semi-traditional stern built by Mindon Marine in 1974, with the much-desired and beautiful sounding LISTER SR2 diesel engine. PRICED LOW FOR QUICK SALE.

Boat Location: Stanstead Lock, River Lea, Hertfordshire. Frensham is available with a beautiful-setting MOORING @ 5% of the purchase price (subject to application).

The semi-trad deck has a seating area, also a front and rear winter cover, and double doors leading into the rear cabin.

Rear Cabin/Bedroom: 2 brand new upholstered and unused banquette sofas, with storage under, converting to full king-sized bed. Storage cupboards. Radiator.

Bathroom: Cross walk through bathroom with white sink, storage cupboard over. Cassette toilet. Shower unit opposite with both doors opening and locking into separate full WC/shower area.

Galley Kitchen: Stainless steel sink/drainer, with cupboards under. Vanette hob/grill/oven, Shoreline fridge with small freezer compartment, worktop with cupboard/drawers under. Tall storage cupboard, drawer unit with shelving. Rinnai gas water heater (not tested). Microwave, kettle, various crockery, utensils, etc.

Front Lounge/Salon: Large 4-seater brand new upholstered and unused sofa which converts to a double bed, with storage under. Corner shelf with a TV aerial point. Electric fire under. Wall-mounted TV. Double doors lead to a front deck with seating area. Front cratch cover.

Heating: Flavell LPG fired central heating, 2 radiators (not tested).

Invertor: Nikkai 2500w. 2 Large Solar Panels fitted to the roof continually charging 3 x leisure batteries.

Boat Safety Cert: expires January 2026. Fully blacked and serviced in 2020. Full external and internal strip-down and thorough paint refurbishment (Promain paints external, Farrow & Ball internal) carried out in summer 2021. Full river and canal license until the end of November 2023. She just needs a new lino or carpet to finish her off. Reluctant sale due to owners' separation.

Frensham is a perfect starter boat, that comes with a mooring at the very beautiful and peaceful Stanstead Lock, on the River Lea. Mooring is subject to a 5% of purchase-price fee and a few standard checks. Or you can just sail her away to wherever you please!
