Bramble is a 1980, 40ft Forrest & Fleetwood built Cruiser stern narrowboat. She is powered by a Perkins 4.108 4 cylinder engine which has recently been serviced and carbon cleaned. 4+1 leisure & starter batteries. Sterling 2.5w Inverter.

Surveyed in November 2024 with excellent readings recorded. The base has been fully overplated in 6mm steel and the hull sides and counter show no significant wear or pitting anywhere along the hull above or below the waterline which is impressive for the year of build. All survey recommendations have been undertaking including the raising of the weed hatch and new drainage channels on the stern deck.

She has a solar panel on the roof, access is by fixed steps from the stern deck. Bow & stern cratch covers are fitted. The large new canopy over the stern deck provides extra living space and with the wide doors to the cabin is easily heated in the winter months by the onboard stove.

Entering through the wide stern cabin doors into the exceptionally spacious open plan galley / saloon. She has a standalone Calor Choice oven, grill & gas hob, under counter fridge / freezer & Washing machine.
Plenty of storage space available and a sofa opposite a newly painted multifuel burner which sits on a lovely slate hearth.

Carrying on into the walk through bathroom which has a Thetford cassette toilet and a good sized shower and wash basin. Hot water is provided by engine & shore power heated calorifier.

The bedroom has a 4x6 double bed and a window that opens on to the bow deck, allowing in lots of light from the port and starboard windows.

Blacked in March 2025 with 2 additional anodes, BSS May 2025 (expires 2029). Survey November 2024. Full external paint job March 2025. Full internal redecoration March 2025.
