Hi All,

Looking to sell my 45ft Narrowboat as I look to relocate for work.

The boat is named Argie Bargie. This boat is the perfect liveaboard and has been consistently improved to support comfort.

In Spring 2025, the boat had a full internal and external repaint so is in incredibly good condition and all spare paint remains for top ups when needed.

Reconditioned BMC 1.5 engine, new stainless steel water tank in 2018, which is large for the size of the boat, lasts me weeks. New weed hatch and prop shaft, and cratch cover. Huge storage box in the bow which stores all maintenance bits and bobs. Small multifuel stove but there is the possibility to connect it to an already existing radiator through a backboiler.

2025/26 has brought brand new Victron Solar panel, with Victron solar charger and new 2000W inverter. 4 new leisure batteries which have been maintained, and a Honda generator which is used to top up when I wfh, with a charger. Electrics updated to provide electric down the whole boat. New stern boards, with more support bars so it is more convenient for tightening the stern gland, getting into the bilge. Engine has been regularly serviced and has been incredibly reliable

Safety on board has been considered, Yale lock on stainless steel doors, majority of windows have been resealed for safety purposes. Very secure, I feel very safe. There is also a safe in the boat.

Gas oven & hob, gas lockers can hold 2 x gas cans. 12v fridge, gas water heater.

Cassette toilet with extra cassette, but also a composting set up available and pump out in situ.

Huge amount of under bed storage and lots of convenient storage hidden in the gunwhales, including a wardrobe which is large for the size of boat!

When I leave I intend to leave a full toolkit for maintenance, including a drill, top load spin washer, generator etc, as I will be moving onto land.

Blacking - 2pc Epoxy. Intending to give a top up before sale or would knock some off price.
BSS - due in June. Intending to also get completed before sale.

I do have a recent survey I can share from last year so could save cost there. The price will increase once the blacking is done.

I am currently en route into London so can meet anyone for viewings along the Lea at the moment.
