Description

Bonnie Jean is a 36ft traditional narrowboat built by Springer in 1983.

She is powered by a reconditioned BMC 1.5 diesel engine, coupled to a Delta 2:1 reduction gearbox, both of which were installed in 2020.

The boat was recently taken out of the water for blacking. During this work, it became apparent that the hull now appears to require overplating. The original Springer base plate is believed to be 6mm thick.

Layout: Traditional Stern, Bathroom, Bedroom, Galley, Saloon.

Bathroom: Compost toilet, sink, shower, porthole.

Bedroom: Fixed double bed with storage shelves above, BUSH TV, windows with curtains,

Galley: Oven and grill with gas hobs, sink, Electrolux fridge powered by gas, 12v and shore power, worktop, cupboard storage.

Saloon: Boatman Stove, bench with storage stores below, windows and curtains, doors to bow.
