Venetian Dream is a one-off individually designed barge for luxury full time living.

Nottingham boat company designed the boat to best suit the lock sizes, low bridges, and shallow waters of the river and canal systems. A Vee shape bottom chine allows the boat to moor close to the bank and gives excellent straight-line steering. The specially designed, fish-tail rudder gives commanding control of the steering.

The 60ft x12ft vessel is big enough to give huge accommodation, small enough to travel anywhere, with suitably sized double width locks, with lower mooring costs.

With detailed interior design by her owner, designed to have changeable, spacious, open plan areas, multipurpose use for all services, with meticulous attention to detail and safety. She is presented for sale in immaculate condition.

She enjoys a level of equipment not often seen, including a full copper pipe mains water pressure system, utilizing cartridge and UV- light water filtration, full copper pipe hot and cold systems, a huge 600 Ltr stainless steel freshwater storage tank and pump for use when cruising. All rooms have down lighting spotlights, and multi colour strip lighting for mood lighting at night.

Full webasto, pro-90, diesel, 9kw wet central heating system in every room and full stand- by electric fan heating in every room, gives toasty warm winter months.

Huge vetus 100 ltr hot water storage cylinder, with electric immersion heater, enough for a boiling hot bath or multiple showers.

There is a built-in diesel fuel filter polishing system,that cleans the 1000 ltr diesel fuel storage tank, for fresh clean diesel to run the powerful 80 hp diesel Vetus marine engine and webasto pro 90 diesel 9kw heating boiler.

A 95kw Vetus bow thruster, which has twin 100amp batteries charged by its own alternator, for amazing powerful 360-degree manoeuvrability.

Twin alternators, standby 5kw diesel generator and mains 230v all run through the powerful Victron quattro 3kw inverter/120-amp charger, the second 12 volt alternator powers the Victron Orian Tr smart charger, which charges the house batteries when underway.

The removeable wheelhouse has perfect visibility for steering, lovely teak Deck style flooring, upholstered seating, throttle control panel, new expensive traditional chrome and hardwood ships wheel and a beautiful solid wood table. The wheelhouse serves as a conservatory in spring, autumn and winter to enjoy breakfasts, lunch, and evening meal. It can also be used as an extra sleeping area, the wheelhouse is fully removeable for summertime sunbathing or cruising under very low bridges.

Entering the boat from the wheelhouse you are presented with a light bright open plan interior, with a unique design that allows unobstructed views through to the front of the boat and beyond. Secret large underfloor and under stair cold storage areas for food wine, veg, or tool/clothing storage.

The galley features glass gold- leaf and copper tiling, an island unit with integrated solid oak dining table, dining for up to 5 adults and 2 children. The galley is large and well-equipped including, Sheridan granite style solid work surfaces, cooking features a 3 burner gas hob on black glass, with ventilation extractor above, black glass on stainless steel sink with integrated food waste disposal unit. All appliances are fully integrated -the cooking area with oven, microwave, fridge, freezer, and dishwasher, the laundry area with full size fully automatic washing machine and fully vented to outside big capacity tumble dryer.

The saloon area is a large comfortable room to relax in. The electric fire adds a stylish, clean, design centre piece and focal point to the room. The light grey sofa and chair can be configured in several different orientations to give a different feel to the saloon area. All wallpaper decoration is over full marine ply boarding, allowing easy change of style and colour to suit the new owners taste. There is generous underfloor storage accessible through secret lift up doors.

Venetian Dream has a beautiful spacious bathroom, full size slipper style bath with chrome claw feet and chrome shower attachment, black granite floor tiles and feature white crystal- glass wall tiles, Vetus electric WC and [for winter use] a removable portable loo, a central companion way gives access to the two separate wc areas, a spacious shower room to starboard side which has a second Vetus electric wc, a thermostatic shower and feature wash hand basin, with storage draws under, utilizes a separate dedicated electric 2 gallon hot water boiler for instant hot water, the twin oak doors are configured so that the whole area can be opened up into one large room, Both rooms have chrome central heating towel radiators and also have extra electric fan heater to keep you warm in autumn and spring when the central heating is off.

The bedroom and salon sleeping guests, have a nighttime jack and jill door arrangement for WC privacy.

The light bright feeling of the boat continues in the bedroom, thanks in part to the storage alcove behind the bed head and secret under floor storage area. The bedroom enjoys generous drawer storage, two double wardrobes with glass doors, and a drop-down television, the bedroom also features both a webasto temperature controlled central heating and extra electric temperature-controlled fan heater for a powerful heat boost, twin double 230v sockets with twin usb power for phone charging and 230v sockets for an all night electric blanket warmth.
