Introducing Bonnie Flame, a charming 30ft traditional-style narrowboat, expertly built by Piper. Beautifully presented and thoughtfully laid out, this vessel offers a warm, inviting living space that is ready to enjoy, currently moored in London. Measuring 30ft in length with a beam of 6ft 10in, her manageable size makes her ideal for both cruising the inland waterways and comfortable residential living. Constructed with a steel flat-bottomed hull, she features quality build details including Rockwool insulation, ply cabin sides, durable vinyl flooring, and classic porthole windows that add to her timeless character.
Power comes from a reliable Enfield 15hp, two-cylinder, air-cooled diesel engine, paired with a Ruston Hornsby gearbox. With a fuel tank holding approximately 30 gallons, she is well set up for extended trips or continuous cruising. Her electrical system is comprehensive and modern, featuring both 12v and 240v supplies, an inverter, and an Impax 1800w generator for off-grid power. She is further equipped with a 400w solar panel array, along with one starter battery and two leisure batteries, ensuring you have power wherever you travel.
Onboard comfort is a priority, with heating and hot water provided by a Cointra gas boiler and blow-air central heating, alongside a solid fuel stove that serves as a wonderful focal point on cooler evenings. Hot water is readily available, and the water tank has an approximate capacity of 80 gallons. The galley is well-appointed with tiled worktops, a Voyager cooker, and a Waeco fridge/cooler that runs on gas, 12v, giving you flexibility for all your catering needs.
The accommodation offers sleeping space for up to three people, arranged as single bunks, designed to make the best use of the internal layout. The bathroom area includes a shower and a Porta Potti toilet included for convenience. Bonnie Flame is sold with a Boat Safety Certificate valid until 2027 and was blacked in 2025, offering peace of mind regarding her maintenance and compliance.
This narrowboat represents a fantastic opportunity to own a classic Piper build that has been updated with practical modern systems. Whether you are looking for a first boat, a weekend retreat, or a live-aboard home, Bonnie Flame offers character, reliability, and comfort in equal measure.

BUYERS & SELLERS
When you buy a boat from us you pay all monies in to our company clients trust account which means that the buyers and sellers money is protected. This is the same account that solicitors set up for house sales .This money does not belong to the company it belongs to the buyer until the sale is complete and then we pay the seller from the company clients trust account. We cannot release the money from the Clients Trust Account to the seller until the vessel has been accepted and handed over to the buyer because if there was a fault with the vessel and the buyer refused to accept it and wanted their money back we could not do this because the seller would of already had the money. This could become a very costly and messy problem for all parties.
This money never enters our company current account. This also means that we cannot use customers money for other purchases/reasons. If at any point the company went bust then the buyers/sellers money is safe and it would go back to the rightful owner of the money.
We have had this company clients trust account set up from day one to protect our customers money. This account is a secure holding account. We pay the seller monies due from this account when the buyer has signed to accept the vessel. Payment is made from this account to the seller by cheque from the clients Trust Account which is protected guaranteed funds.
