Description

Horus is a charming 46’2” traditional stern narrowboat built in 2006 by Piper Narrowboats, and believed to be fitted out by Lymm Marina. She has been well prepared for sale, having been repainted and blacked in 2026, and a full survey from July 2025 is available for viewing in the office.
She is fitted out in a mix of oak faced ply, painted ply, and painted T& G, with sapele trim and engineered oak flooring to the forward half, with wood effect laminate to aft.
The large well deck (6’0”) features a freestanding vintage phone chair and cupboard combo unit, and is protected from the elements with a good condition cratch cover.
Steps lead down, through glazed forward doors, into the 9’6” saloon. Here is a freestanding bench unit, which can be reconfigured in a number of ways, including into a spare double, as well as the Stovax stove to keep you warm in winter.
Next is the 5’3” galley, with reclaimed wood worktops, butler sink, 12v LEC fridge, Statesman 4 burner gas hob, oven and grill, and cupboards for storage. A starboard side hatch brings in additional light and fresh air.
The 6’0” off-corridor bathroom follows, with a bath and shower over, ceramic wash basin, Thetford cassette toilet, and again more cupboards.
Following, the 8’1” bedroom features a 6’3” x 4’0” double berth with large storage under, and a cupboard over. If you wanted a washing machine on board, one potential place would be at the base of the full height single wardrobe at the foot of the bed. A pigeon box over brings in additional light and fresh air.
A half bulkhead separates this from the engine room, with the main boat electrics, and the Beta 28hp engine housed below. This was last serviced in March 2026. Steps lead out onto the trad stern deck.
12v power is via 4x 110ah domestics with a separate starter (all NEW summer 2023). 240v power is via a Waeco 1500w inverter, or landline hookup. A galvanic isolator, Victron battery monitor, and Automatic 7 battery charger are also installed.
Hot water is provided via the engine or immersion, and lighting on board is LED throughout.
She comes equipped with everything to just turn the key and go!
