Mystique is a glass fibre hull, gaff rigged ketch, open day sail boat, with wooden masts, spars and bowsprit and wooden seating. Mystique is in urgent need of a new owner for new adventures. Age and failing health of the current owner is forcing the urgency of the sale of Mystique. The hull has suffered unfortunate, repairable damage to the port side of the bow, the keel and the interior woodwork seating is in need of repair and some replacement as well. Being a damaged boat is reflected in the pricing and will also provide the right new owner(s) with an opportunity to give Mystique a new lease of life, for loads more fun adventures. The sails and spars are in good condition being stored in a sail loft and include a storm jib, jib, main sail, mizzen sail, as well as main and mizzen top sails. Both masts, the bowsprit and standing rigging require close inspection and possible repair/replacement. The metal daggerboard and timber rudder need a bit of work too. Mystique's transom has a fitted outboard engine mount on a sprung, lifting bracket and Mystique is being sold complete with a 4HP, four stroke, Yamaha outboard motor. Mystique's owner made navigation light fittings, also included in the sale, to allow the adventures not to be bound by sunrise and sunset. Mystique comes on a Snipe International Trailers A2000P heavy duty power boat road trailer with a tilt frame and hand winch for launch and recovery. The Jeckells red canvas boat cover has windows covered by protective flaps and enables Mystique to be used for overnight stays on longer adventures.

It is possible for two adults (and two small children - though a bit cramped) to stay onboard Mystique sleeping on the deck boards beneath the seating in sleeping bags and to gain some comfort, using camping inflatable mattresses. What an adventure! No photos.
