Description

La Mouette, Fowey River 26, is a wooden clinker-built dinghy, built around 1963. Fowey Rivers were originally designed as a family knockabout boat and they still make a lovely family boat for river or inshore sailing. A fleet of Fowey Rivers are based in Fowey, Cornwall with a very active and friendly series of races, championships and regatta.
The boat is currently out of the water in Fowey. Collection or delivery will need discussion as part of any offer.
La Mouette has been professionally maintained by a local boat builder for many years and is in very good condition. Recent works include a stainless-steel centre plate, improved kicker and an improved and easily adjustable shroud set up. The mainsail is about 5 years old but in good condition, as not used a great deal. New jib in 2022. Last year’s maintenance covered revarnishing topsides, transom and gaff, as well as re-painting hull. The boat comes with a canvas cover. She is ready to sail.
