Eric Lerouge designed the Azuli for sailors who prioritise sailing performance and seaworthiness over maximum accommodation.
She is therefore light, stiff and powerfully rigged with a rotating wing mast, allowing her to maintain high average speeds on passage.
Excellent bridge deck clearance reduces slamming, whilst her twin keels give her good performance to windward, but allowing the practicality of beaching when desired.
Accommodation features two double stern cabins, port and starboard. One forward cabin to starboard with one full length and one 3/4 length child's bunk.
Port midships, full length galley with three burner hob, oven & fridge. Head compartment forward with lavac toilet, sink and shower. Pressurised H&C water throughout. Headroom in the hulls is 1.85m
Bridgedeck accommodation features Nav table and electronics to starboard and centrally a large table with seating for up to eight.
Headroom in bridge deck approx 1.5m
Large protected cockpit with Bimini, Tiller steering, Engine controls and range of electronics and sail handling hardware.
We bought the boat in 2013 and between then and 2017 she underwent a comprehensive out of the water refit of all systems, including, gel peel and epoxy treatment of the hulls below the waterline, complete rewire with all new electronics, new engines, sails, interior linings and upholstery, galley, heads, all hatches and portlights etc etc. I have a photographic record of all the works completed.
We have cruised to Ireland, France, Spain and Portugal over the last eight years, thousands of miles in a wide variety of conditions without any concerns for the boat's abilities.
As our kids approach teenage we are getting a bit tight on space so this is our only reason for sale - a bigger one!
Full inventory available on request.
If you like to sail a fast, efficient boat, optimised for short handed crew in relative comfort this could be the boat you've been searching for.
If you need endless accommodation, ponderous performance and the aesthetics of a floating apartment block, you might like a Lagoon (although for the sake of fairness, other floating monstrosities are available)
