28ft PETER DUCK CLASS KETCH
In 1945, the journalist and well know children’s author Arthur Ransome, commissioned Jack Giles to design a replacement for SELINA KING. Over a successive period of twenty years, a total of 38 Peter Ducks were independently commissioned, most of which were built by Porter & Haylett of Wroxha... read more

21ft HARRISON BUTLER MEMORY SLOOP - 1932 - Project
AVOCET was designed by Thomas Harrison Butler in 1911 and is one of his earliest known surviving designs. The original MEMORY was one of THB’s favourite and he sailed aboard her on the Broads when in the ownership of the Suffling brothers of Cantley. This was the first yacht built by Priors who were predominantly barge builders. They took extreme care to build AVOCET to a very high standard. A photograph of AVOCET was on... read more

Westmacott wooden Gaff Sloop
Designed by Westmacott and built by Woodnutts in 1922. Details of her early years are not known but after her first major refit in 1983 her history has been well documented. In 1983 the new decks and coachroof were fitted and a new rig design put in. After this she was kept locally in Falmouth and raced successfully for periods of time. Bought by the present owners in 2009, she had a further refit to optimise her for racing, mainly with adjustments to the rig and fittings. 'Fintail' Gaff Cutter
'Fintail' Gaff Cutter   £17,500
Fintail is a much loved gaff cutter, looking for her next owner to have adventures with. She was built in Shoreham, to a Paul Johnson Venus 28 design by her previous owners. She then adventured through the French canals before exploring Spain and the Balearics. She is now back in the UK and based in Emsworth. Work has taken me overseas for a few years, and Fintail really needs to be out sailing and exploring. Her hull is 1.25inch square planked Iroko on Oak frames, with the entire hull epoxy coated at build, giving a really sound hull structure. She had been internally refitted over recent y... read more
