Currently moored in Arisaig, she has been professionally maintained annually. New saildrive diaphragm, windlass, standing rigging inspection and the engine refurbished. She is dry to sail with a lead keel and has an extensive sail wardrobe, this Ocean Huzar 30 was built in Poland to exceed RCD Category A.

The forepeak has V berths with a moveable infill. It is suitable for 1 adult or 2 children. A small forward locker and 2 shelves, with large lockers below the berths.
The main cabin has 2 berths with lee-cloths, and lockers below. A main metal freshwater tank (110litres) to starboard and a flexible tank (aprox 60litres) to port. on the port side is a very useful navigation station, facing forward with a chart table for a 1/2 folded full Admiralty chart. The table top opens for storage and also has a small covered insert for pencils etc. More storage below and under the seat. Above is the instrument panel that folds out for easy access to the wiring and fuses.
The saloon table has a wine locker.
Opposite to starboard is the galley with a sink on a peninsular and the cooker with 2 gas rings and oven on gimbals.
2 cupboards and a sliding doors shelf above.
Aft from the Nav area is an enclosed toilet room with sink, shower and hanging space for wet gear.
In the stern to starboard is the walk-in double cabin with a hanging cupboard., and large storage shelf with more storage below the double bunk.
Built to exceed RCD Category A, with a 100% hand laid triple layer Isopthtalic barrier coat and inner hull liner. She is designed for fast cruising with high stability values (STIX 38.7 AVS132degrees)
From the bows, there is a detachable S/S support for the anchor whose fairlead keeps the mooring bridle off the hull. The anchor locker contains 60M chain and a 14kg Kobra anchor. The Lofrans windlass was replaced this year. This ground tackle is ample for the Highlands and Islands.
A removable inner forestay allows a strong wind staysail to be set.

Jackstays
Solar panel on the coachroof keeps the domestic batteries topped up, but there is also space for the folded inflatable dinghy.
The spray hood canvas was replaced in 2017

She is fully equipped with the original Raymarine systems. A C80 Chartplotter, Tridata for depth and log, Wind instruments, and Wheel Pilot are all at the binnacle for the helmsman. Down below at the Nav station is a Raymarine Graphic display that correlates all the data.
A Standard Horizon VHF is fitted to the Nav station, with a Command mic at the wheel (very good system).
A Raymarine Radar interfaces with the C80 chartplotter.
The Beta Marine 20 HP is a quiet engine quite capable of powering this yacht. The Selva Sail Drive has a twin bladed folding prop. There is easy access to the engine that has been regularly maintained, and the sail drive diaphragm has just been changed. The engine has a larger alternator to charge the higher capacity domestic batteries.
A conventional 7/8ths sloop rig with a removable inner forestay that attaches to a strong point on the foredeck. A Profurl roller system and genoa and jib fairlead tracks. A telescopic vang and powerful backstay tackle.
The fully battened mainsail has 2 reefing positions with the leech lines leading back to the cockpit, and the forward cringle has rings for the gooseneck hook. (There are sheaves for a single line system if required).
Although the mainsail is original, the full battens have kept it to a good shape, and flattens well when reefed.
Lazy jacks and recent sail cover for easy handling.
Both the Genoa and Jib have foam luffs enabling a good shape to be maintained when reefed in stronger winds.
The heavy weather staysail can be set on the inner forestay.
For downwind conditions there is a spinnaker with pole, uphaul and downhaul; and a topdown furling cruising chute for those fast broad reaches.
The cockpit has Lewmar genoa sheet winches (in reach of the helmsman)
Next to the companionway are the Halyard winches and clutches.
She sails comfortably with 4 adults, or is well organised for single handed.
Flares and powerful beam torches, Foghorn, EPIRB, lifebuoy and Danbuoy.
Below the helmsman's seat is a Seago 4 person life raft (serviced to 2028).
