Still Waters – A Beautifully Maintained 41ft Sea Otter Narrowboat
Reluctantly selling as the boat is slightly longer than my club will accept. I have only owned the boat for 6 months but am now having to sell it due to the size restriction.
This lovely sea otter is ready to go with no work required.

Would consider a part exchange for a camper van, preferably left-hand drive.
This charming 41ft Sea Otter narrowboat, built in 2006 and has recently undergone extensive upgrading work. Must be viewed to be appreciated.
Previous owner lifted the boat out of the water and had a full survey in December 2020.
At time of survey the boat was two-packed with proxy resin. Any recommendations brought up by the survey, which were all minor, were completed. The survey is available for inspection if you wish or you are welcome to have your own survey.
As the owner the club I am at allowed me to take the boat out of the water in October 2025 where I jet washed it and repainted below the water line. I have videos on request.
I also redid the coach strips whilst it was in dry dock
All the internal window carcasses have been taken out, varnish, resealed and put back in with brand-new stainless-steel screws.
Full service including changing oil filter, engine oil and fuel filter.

* Lounge:
The front lounge area has galley style seating for 6, featuring an optional 4-seater dining table (included). The seating area converts easily into a large sleeping area using pull out centre piece. Ample storage is provided by 2 large lockers under the benches which also allows access to the Vetus Bow Thruster and Jabsco Water Pump and Filter. Other storage includes a 4-drawer unit below the TV and a lift lid cupboard. A wall mounted TV bracket for a TV with 12V supply and 2 plug sockets below. A built-in stereo which has 4 speakers to the roof completes a great entertainment area. In the centre of the lounge is a clear skylight which can be opened to varying heights. 6 centrally positioned vents in the roof allow for circulation of air without letting the rain in. All the carpets and upholstery have been recently cleaned.
* Kitchen:
The kitchen includes three large storage cupboards, a 12V Shoreline fridge with a freezer compartment, a full-size cooker with 4 burner gas hob, grill and oven which has hardly been used and a moulded in sink unit with a mixer tap and drainer. Ample worktop space means meals can be prepared with plenty of room. A Nature Pure Drinking Water Purifier has been fitted so no need for bottled water. A wall-mounted cupboard offers extra storage. 2 plug sockets under the wall mounted cupboard for use when on main electric.
* Dining Area:
Opposite the kitchen area is a 2-seater dining table with 2 benches. Both benches have large storage cupboards underneath. The dining table converts into 2 bunk beds to allow for extra sleeping area.
* Bathroom/Wet Room:
This spacious area features a sink with mixer tap, cassette toilet, shower head from wash basin, wrap around shower curtain, mirror with light above it and 4 hooks to back of main door for additional hanging space. Fitted with a radiator, double towel rail, hand towel ring and wall mounted beaker. There is an under-sink cupboard for toiletries. A half-moon opening porthole window with frosted glass allows for privacy.
* Bedroom:
To the rear of the boat is a bedroom with fixed double bed with the complete area of the bed having storage underneath. Large wardrobe, floor mounted cupboard and 2 wall mounted cupboards add to the storage on offer. There is a mirror with light above the floor mounted cupboard for use as a dressing table as well as a plug socket for use when on main electric. 2 lights above the bed independently controlled allow for reading in bed. Double radiator and TV bracket add to the comfortable bedroom. 2 half-moon porthole windows with curtains add to the privacy whilst sleeping. Central heating control mounted on the wall. There is also a fixed porthole window on the corridor leading to the bedroom.
* Cupboard by back doors:
A further cupboard next to the rear doors houses a battery charger switch, immersion heater switch and Galvanic isolator for when on mains. There is ample space with rail to hang coats.
A second top cupboard by the door houses the wiring to the control panel as well as storage for keys etc.
* Engine & Back Deck:
2 steps with 1 under step storage compartment for windlass and mooring chains lead to the back doors opening to a spacious deck with four panels providing access to the engine bay, which also offers additional storage.

The large front locker has storage for 2 x 6kg gas bottles as well as more storage for anchor, tools, spare oil etc. The gas connection is fitted with a bubble tester.
Under the front deck is an approx. 550 litre stainless steel water tank with the filling point for the tank located on the deck itself.
