This is a well maintained example of a Southerly 28. Windows, upholstery, engine, and most rigging changed in the past 5 years. The original Bukh DV20 was replaced with a reconditioned Bukh DV24 marine diesel in 2016. The cockpit has been professionally fitted with teak and a wheel position also fitted to the cockpit. All instruments, GPS, AIS, and wind are fed to a NMEA multiplexer, providing WiFi data to an ipad runn8ng iNavX as a chart plotter. The yacht is well provisioned with sails including a cruising chute and spinikker. With roller reefing job and in mast reefing main, all sails can be managed from the cockpit.

Bukh DV24 refurbished engine fitted in 2016, providing propulsion but also hot water for an onboard calorifier.
A fibreglass hull with aluminium mast and boom. The cockpit has been fitted with teak decks.
The interior is laid out in three section, the main saloon, the fore berth, and the heads. The main saloon is fitted with a table and seating, which makes into a double bed, a galley, and a aft seat which converts to a single berth. The fore cabin contains two berths, in classic Southerly style. One bunk has a range of storage cupboards below. The heads contains a Jabsco sea toilet, and a sink fitted with a shower tap.
The yacht is fitted with GPS, AIS, NMEA wind, all fed to a multiplexer providing WiFi data to an iPad with INavX chart plotter. A depth sonar is also fitted. There is a plentiful supply of fenders, mooring lines, and sails ( main, jib, cruising chute, and spiniker). A tiller pilot provides autopilot, to a tiller. Wheel steering from the cockpit is also provided, a modification from the original below deck steering position.
