Description

Launea is a 52 foot traditional stern narrowboat, built in 1995 by renowned boat-builder Steve Hudson. Powered by a vintage Lister FR2 diesel engine, this distinctive and well-maintained boat is offered with recent repaint and hull zinc-plated and two-pack epoxy blacked on both sides and base.

Berths comprise fixed double and a make-up single in the saloon, with the option of converting two smaller berths in the boatman’s cabin to a further double. The boat is kept cosy by a Morso squirrel solid fuel stove in the saloon and Refleks oil stove in the back cabin. Hot water is provided by calorifier, immersion heater or instant water heater, and there is a washing machine in the galley.

Launea is a lovely example of a traditional narrowboat with her side-hatches and classic lines, and ideal for cruising or liveaboard use.
