Puffin is not only a safe sea boat she comes with a custom 6 wheel galvanized road trailer. This makes her an incredibly flexible boat to own, visiting different cruising areas as the mood takes you. (New 2023, not used for launching)
Puffin has been barn stored each winter in current ownership. She has been professionally valeted each year prior to recommission. Puffins gelcoat is almost flawless and presents beautifully with a high gloss.
Puffin was incredibly highly specified when commissioned with many extra's including teak aft deck, Inverter and microwave, freshwater toilet. Puffin has even been fitted with an alarmed seacock, making forgetting to open the seacock a thing of the past.

The Puffin's accommodation is cleverly designed and well planned, packing in a lot for a 23-foot vessel, with 1.9m headroom. The Saloon is upholstered in dark blue throughout with matching curtains. There is dinette seating to port which converts to a small double/large single berth. Windows all round with opening ones on both sides; and there is a sliding cover to the opening overhead roof hatch. Plenty of storage space and sockets. Galley is arranged to starboard with stainless steel sink and pressurised hot and cold mixer tap, fridge with ice box, small microwave. Draining area/worktop space beneath hinged helm seat. Storage space and cupboard. The forward cabin double berth has upholstered back rests (so can be used as a day-lounger) with storage below. There are 4 opening portholes, with curtains, with an overhead hatch. The heads on the starboard side features a manual freshwater sea toilet, vanity hand basin has hot and cold pressurised water with a mixer tap/shower head. The shower tray has electric pump-out, and there's an opening portlight for ventilation.

History and Construction
GRP construction blue hull with white superstructure, moulded nonslip decks, cockpit teak laid. Built by the small Midlands-based company Trusty Motorboats, the T23 is strictly a displacement boat.
Electrical System
2 x 12-volt batteries charging from the engine alternator, 240-volt shore connection with 240-volt ring main, battery charger and immersion heater.
Puffin was highly specified when under construction and is fitted with an electric windlass and a powerful inverter, capable of running the microwave when under way.

The Trusty 23 is powered by a 2009 single Yanmar four-cylinder 54hp diesel engine, last professionally serviced 2024 on layup. She has not been launch in 2025 and is currently ashore in her custom made road trailer. She has a shaft drive to a fixed 3 bladed bronze propeller, single lever control. Fitted with a bow thruster for added manageability. Puffin was copper coated in 2021 and the coating is still in good condition.
