Description
1990
The Tyler Vortex 43 is a distinctive 43-foot British-built offshore motor cruiser from 1990, originally derived from rugged pilot and fast-response vessel designs. Built by the Tyler shipyard, it features a strong, seaworthy hull - engineered to handle heavy offshore conditions with stability and confidence.
"Claudia" is one of only seven hulls made, the other six were made into pilot/survey or military fast response vessels, with Claudia being the only one made into a cruiser. The boat is powered by Twin Detroit Diesel V8 8V71 engines delivering a cruising speed of 20 knots and the potential for 30 knots in optimal conditions and has sleeping accommodation onboard for up to six.
Highlights include but are not limited to:
• Twin Detroit 465 HP Engines on Shaft
• Top Speed of 30 knots, Cruising @ 20 knots
• 8kVA Generator
• Diesel Central Heating
• August 2022 Survey (No major issues)
Broker's view: "A unique boat, I knew the owner who spent many hours on maintaining the boat and I would be confident in the mechanical and structural integrity of the boat. A striking design, immensely sea-worthy with good sized accommodation. Currently lying in Weymouth Marina and the mooring up until end of March 2027 in a Premier Marina could be included as part of the sale."
Berth at Weymouth Marina is paid up until end of March 2027 and this could form part of the purchase or transferred to another Premier Marina.
Bill of sale into current ownership.
