Sailing on the Bristol channel can be a little bit of a challenge at times. Having a good engine definitely gives that extra bit of confidence. Plenty of spare grunt. This helps when maneuvering in crowded marinas. The ability to stop when entering a crowded lock with the wind behind you. Or just punching the tide and chop.
Relatively quiet with all new quietlife insulation from ASAP installed at the same time. Clean enough to eat your dinner off of. I love it.
Vertue yachts by design date back to 1937. With many variations built over the years. Obviously originally in wood!
The Vertue 11's are built from fibreglass and were made from the 1970s using a very similar and well proven hull profile. With a displacement of over 4 ton which for this size of boat shows that are very strongly built.
Teak toe rail, seats and hatch cover
There is standing headroom in the main part of the cabin (and I am 6ft tall)
Lewmar hatch in the forepeak. In very good condition
I would suggests you have a look at the Vertue website for more information.
Four berths. Two forward. I had an infill made to make this a double.
Two single berths in the main cabin.
Upholstery is still in very good condition.
The inside of Pebbles is lovely and dry and well ventillated.
Heads between the cabins.
Galley aft with sink, foot pumped water, cool box, Origio 2 burner spirit cooker.
Usual lighting improved greatly with discreet LED strips which are dimable.
Fortress and 10kg Delta anchors. Warp and chain for main and kedge. I keep the Fortress on the bow but these two anchors are both of a good quality and easily interchangeable.
Main anchor chain is 20m chain and 60m warp. Kedge is 15m of each,
Lawerence Simpson manual winch.
Seago liferaft - Service indate.
Seago dinghy 2.3m
Origio 2 burner cooker

Vesper XB8000 AIS (WiFi) - New this year.
Autohelm depth, speed and wind instruments.
A good chart table with chart storage under.
