Remarks:
Overall a very well presented Viking 2. Ever popular for cruising the inland waterways of the Norfolk Broads being easy to handle, economical to run and able to fit through all Broadlands bridges owing to the folding and removeable windscreens.
Now benefitting from a recent haul out (September 2025) to service the engine as well as a hull polish and antifoul. She positively gleams.
With the same owner for the last 20 years she is now sadly for sale due to lack of use following the passing of a family member.
The owners comment: “Emily May was purchased by our family in 2005 and we’ve had many good times in her on the Broads. She’s been washed and polished every year and antifouled every 2 years. The gelcoat has some blemishes & marks but we think is a good example for a boat of its age. The internal condition is very good. Furnishings have always been removed and stored ashore all winter. The engine starts easily and runs very smoothly. Seating upholstery is in good condition but the curtains need replacing and are getting tired”.
