Cohort is a Centurion 32, designed in 1968 by Kim Holman, built by Wauquiez in 1972 in GRP with external teak cappings and fittings, external lead keel on long fin and skeg mounted rudder with tiller steering. Main hatch and interior fit out all in teak.
The Centurion 32 is a safe, secure and fast cruising yacht, a classic design of her time with classic good looks. Cohort has been pictured in recent YW and PBO articles about the Centurion 32 .Shet is very sea kindly, sails beautifully and can oe handled easily by one. She has a fully battered main with three reefs and lazy jacks and furling Genoa, This is the 20th year of our ownership , and we are third third owner.
We have tried over the years to keep her technically up to date, replacing or improving her gear as necessary to keep her safe to sail on our own or with friends; so her gear is good and she is safe, fun and easy to sail. Her hull and deck paint are due a refresh. Home comforts are behind current expectations of hot water, fridge-freezers and microwaves but she is very comfortable and secure below decks.
It is a huge wrench to put her up for sale but declining health and increasing age means we can no longer sail her with confidence and pleasure. It is time for another to lo ve and enjoy her.
