Description

Melita is a twin keel Westerly Merlin. She is of the pintle rudder type and has her original Volvo 18hp inboard engine.
She is a reliable starter. Equipped with a cruising chute and recent genoa. There is an inflatable tender with an electric thrust motor. A 2.5 hp.outboard is available on a pantograph as an auxiliary propulsion. There is a roomy cockpit tent and a diesel heater with separate tank. The usual navgn.aids,
radio, flares etc. Good headroom and no drooping head lining.
Can be viewed at North Queenferry boatclub. Near Edinburgh.
The standing rigging is more than 10 years old and there.is an estimate
of around £2000 to renew. This means that the price may be negotiable.
