Westerly Oceanquest 35, designed by Ed Dubois, gives both performance and comfort on the water and was built for long-haul cruising. The Oceanquest provides exceptional stability and ease of handling. She has a reputation for being over-engineered and is a boat built to last.. 'Airwaves' built in 1998 is in great condition with a recent excellent survey. She is the aft cockpit version with two double berths both with en-suite heads, plus two saloon berths. She is equipped with, full Raymarine instruments including plotter at the chart table and binnacle, plus radar. Other additions include liferaft, Lofrans electric windlass, bimini, 180w solar panel. She is powered by the well proven Volvo D1-30 with shaft drive and feathering 3 blade prop. Sails: Fully battened main, with lazy jacks, furling genoa, storm jib. Full tailormade winter cover. Two double berths; forward berth and aft berth both with en-suite heads/shower. Saloon: centre drop-leaf table with seating for 6 converting to two more single berths. Galley; two burner stove with oven/grill, fridge, twin sinks (hot & cold water, cool box, plenty of drawers and lockers. LED overhead lighting, with 'red' lighting for night navigation. Separate navigation seat and chart table. 2 x 240v outlets and 2 x 12v outlets. Hatch with 'bug' screen and night blackout screen (same in forward and aft cabins). Also 'bug' screen for companion way. 12 volt fans in all cabins and individual reading lights. Curtains to all windows. Teak and holly flooring.

Construction

GRP with teak decks. Decks refurbished in 2025. Survey in 2024 said 'Westerly vessels are known for good strong construction and high build quality and this vessel is no exception. She has been maintained to a very good standard'.
